Like human being, countries also have mood and China now no wonder is flying high. For we who study abroad, it is really a good news to see our country is booming. Some may even more exciting because their aim to study abroad are to get well-paid jobs when back to China. But are we heading for the bright future?
It is really hard to give a certain answer now. No more than ten years ago, people who had ever studied in the foreign country would have high salary, splendid job and even good reputation. However, as more and more Chinese people are capable to fly across the ocean to pursue higher education, it may not so easy we will all get a high life in the future.
In my personal view, there will be a lot of chances for people who have their studies abroad. On the bright side, our advantages are our language skill and international education, which can help in China’s thriving in the globalization, especially the Olympic game which will hold in Beijing in 2008, China without doubt need people like us in business, law, media, and other areas.
Rather than doing anything else,my dream from the childhood is to be a journalist, or at least a writer. I am good at my own language--Chinese of course, and have written several novels for fun. My weakness is that I need to learn how to write professional report and I’m still lack of experience. To overcome this, I think I need to get a job as a journalist for practise.
